FROM THE NORTH: Take I-95 South to I-295 South around Richmond to exit 15 (Rte 10 East) to Surry (Rte 31); turn left on Rte 31 and follow the map to the start point at the Surry Athletic Field behind the Surry Courthouse.

FROM THE SOUTH (Tidewater, VA; southeast NC): Take Rt. 17 to Rt. 10 (as if going to Smithfield). Follow Rt. 10 to Surry. When you get to Rt. 31 and Rt. 10 intersection, the Surry Courthouse will be on your left. Turn left, the start point is at the Surry Athletic Field behind the Surry Courthouse (Refer to map).

FROM THE PENINSULA (Newport News, Hampton): Take the James River Bridge (Rt. 258). Follow Rt. 258, turn right on Rt. 32, then turn right on Rt. 10 as if going to Smithfield. Continue on Rt. 10 to Surry. When you get to Rt. 31 and Rt. 10 intersection, the Surry Courthouse will be on your left. Turn left, the start point is at the Surry Athletic Field behind the Surry Courthouse (Refer to map).

FROM THE WEST (Williamsburg, Middle Peninsula): Take Rt. 199 West for approximately 5 miles; turn left onto Rt. 31. At the end of Rt. 31, take the Jamestown Ferry. The ferry generally runs every half hour, but sometimes very early it runs on the hour. Check the ferry schedule ahead of time. After exiting the ferry on the Scotland side, take Rt. 31 to Surry. The start point is at the Surry Athletic Field behind the Surry Courthouse (Refer to map).
